B M Kanyiri & Company Advocates (the firm) was formed on October 4, 2005 and has over the years grown to a middle size law firm with two partners, two associates, two legal assistants, one legal clerk and two legal secretaries.

B M Kanyiri & Company is involved in training new lawyers. Not only are the interns involved in and exposed at an early stage to substantial legal work with responsibility, but also the work practices makes us an attractive place in which to work.
B M Kanyiri & Company also offers a short work experience programme to a limited number of law school students each year.
We recruit qualified lawyers at levels of experience ranging from recently qualified advocates to experienced partners from other firms. Such recruitment is driven entirely by the firm’s needs at the time and the strengths and abilities of the individuals involved.
External training programmes for partners and associates is encouraged. The firm also recognises that its lawyers should lead lives that are well balanced between time at work and time for recreation, leisure and a family life.
